This week I had a chance to speak with one of my heroes, the legendary Jim Shockey. Jim is the real deal, he is a hunter, but he is so much more than that; a naturalist, conservationist, explorer, collector, author, and father, to name a few. Jim has lived life well, to the fullest, with something he teaches me called, Joie de Vie or "The Joy of Life," not wasting a day in pursuit of your passions and dreams. I hope to one day look back at my life and have it bear resemblance to the one that Jim has lived. He reminds us of what we can be at our best, not the evil backwoods rednecks we are often portrayed as in the mainstream media. I hope you enjoy this conversation!
