In Exodus 5 & 6, we explore Moses' focus on Pharaoh rather than God and how that brings about doubt, anxiety, and can ultimately keep us in slavery to sin. Throughout this passage, God reminds Moses of His promises and who He is, the God Almighty who is not distant or silent. In Exodus 6 we look at 7 promises from God:

I will bring you out

I will rescue you from bondage

I will redeem you

I will take you as my people

I will be your God

I will bring you into the land

I will give it to you as a heritage
