On this next exciting episode of Hoy En Dia TV, our special guest is a Colonel in the United States Air Force, proudly serving for over 27 years. His distinguished career includes numerous stateside assignments as well as deployments across the globe—including South Korea, Italy, Afghanistan, and the Balkans. In 2002–2003, while assigned to Allied Forces Southern Europe Headquarters in Naples, Italy, Jason Markiewitz served as part of a NATO contingent forward deployed to the former Yugoslavia. There, he spent time primarily in Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he witnessed firsthand the haunting aftermath of conflict.
