On this episode of the E4E podcast we are joined by Dr. Christina Budde, an assistant professor specializing in language and literacy education in the School of Education at the University of Delaware. Christina is a former elementary school teacher. Her research seeks to understand the classroom practices and contexts that build upon the cultural and linguistic diversity of students as well as promote social-emotional well-being. Specifically, her research looks at language and literacy development and instruction of children from diverse backgrounds in early childhood and elementary school. Christina also teaches courses related to literacy instruction and teaching bilingual learners.
