We LOVE control, or at least the idea of it. We love to call the shots, make the decisions, and question other people’s decisions. We know what’s best for us at home, and work, and in our future. If I am in control, everything will go according to plan. BUT…what if we are wrong?
Proverbs 19:21 “Many plans are in a person’s heart, but the Lord’s decree will prevail.”
Control is an illusion, the reality is that most of our life is spent trying to be in control when we never were. Honestly, we were never meant to be in control. Jesus is in control, and you and I are NOT JESUS! So if you want to gain control, the key is not to experience more of you…you need more of Him and his wisdom!
