Interview with Rules Officials Bob and Christie Austin

Ed is joined by Bob and Christie Austin – Colorado’s “Official” couple who have officiated over 115 USGA championships between them. But the one Ed wants to hear about most is the recent U.S. Open at Pinehurst!

Christie, a Colorado Golf Hall of Famer, served on the USGA Executive Committee from 2007-13 and as the first female chair of the USGA Rules of Golf Committee, in 2012. For the past twenty-plus years Bob has served on numerous USGA committees, served as the head golf coach for the Kent Denver boys golf team, and taken the USGA Rules of Golf exam more times than he can count!
