Tina Fries- Writer, Traveler and How They Go Hand in Hand

Tina is a fiction writer, traveler, and teacher. I've had the pleasure of joining Tina on some of her adventures traveling through Colombia and she's one of the coolest people I have ever met. Her story "New Years in La Calera," published in PEN America Best Debut Short Stories 2018 [originally in EPOCH Literary Magazine (Vol. 66 No. 3)], won the PEN/Robert J Dau Short Story Prize for Emerging Writers.
