As of this year, Syracuse alumni Drew Carter, has been named the new TV voice of the Boston Celtics. Celtics legendary broadcaster, Mike Gorman, is still in the midst of his farewell season this year as he continues to call all Celtics home games. Drew, on the other hand, has been a road warrior in his first season calling all Celtics away games. Drew will fill in for Mike once this season is over as the Celtics full time TV broadcaster along side former Celtic Brian Scalabrine.
Coming from Minnesota, Drew grew up loving Minnesota sports. However, with all the opportunities he has been able to experience on his broadcasting journey, finding a new home in Boston has given Drew a team to cheer on for the rest of his career.
