This week Jane tells us about the kidnapping of 14 yo Abby Hernandez. When Nate Kibby offered her a ride home she was thankful until it got ugly. Kibby held Abby for many months until just letting her go. She survived and got him prosecuted for his horrific crimes.
Deklan tells us about the Somerton Man in Australia. A man without identification who died in an unknown way on a beach. He was unidentified for nearly 80 years. Although he has been identified by name, Carl “Charles” Webb, through using genetic genealogy it is still unknown why or how he died.
We also drink the Japanese Slipper cocktail.
