Sermon Title: Truth...OR Love??
Sermon Synopsis: John writes a letter to the chosen lady and her children (or the Church and her faithful followers). He is grateful to see those who walk in the truth. John's aim in this letter is to encourage us to follow the prime directive to love others.
The question is...what does it MEAN to love? Can we truly love others if we leave out the truth? Are we loving simply when we are nice, or when we avoid making others uncomfortable?
