Episode notes

1794-1807

The Cherokee are forced to accept the new reality of American domination. The Ridge enters politics for the first time and becomes a leading proponent of these changes.

But as the Cherokee Nation establishes itself, it is planting the seeds for the future proponents of the Indian Removal Act who will resent the idea of a self governing Indian state withing the United States.
