In the second Halloween (the movie)-themed episode for Spooky Season, Jay Yospa heads back to the bear cave to talk Halloween III: Season of the Witch, directed by Tommy Lee Wallace. This 1982 sequel. and some would say "black sheep", of the Halloween franchise, was a controversial entry in that it contained no Michael Myers! An attempt to decouple the Halloween series from The Shape and the slasher genre and branch out to more of an anthology film series around the concept of the holiday, this movie had a disappointing box office result and reputation in the early 80s, but has cemented a fanbase that loves it for all its strangeness and the unique story of cursed masks, a stolen piece of Stonehenge, robots, and evil commercials.
