“It’s awfully stormy outside,” Loki commented as he slid into bed next to you. Sheets of rain pounded against the window punctuated only by the distant rumble of thunder. “Yes, Thor must be up to no good,” you mused you set down your book. Loki wrapped his arms around your torso and snuggled up against you, his breath hot on your skin. “Tired?” You asked. “Very.” You ran your hand through his dark hair, fingers entwining in the strands. You began to gently braid the section closest to his face. As you went, he nuzzled up closer to you. “You’re very good at that, you know,” he mumbled. Your gentle touch was putting him to sleep. “Learned from the best,” you said with a smile. You finished braiding that section and pressed a gentle kiss to his forehead.
