In a special episode of The New Scooby Doo Series, they meet the Addams Family in an episode called, "Wednesday Goes Missing." The Scooby gang gets called to the Addams house to be housekeepers while Gomez and Morticia go on vacation. The house seems to be haunted and Wednesday disappears. After miscellaneous hijinks, the gang finds Wednesday. They uncover the mystery. It was an elderly couple in the neighborhood posing as their old housekeepers who tried to scare the Addams family out of their house. The elderly neighbors thought the Addams' were ruining the neighborhood. Eventually, they come to realize the family is an asset to the kids in the neighborhood, because they have many toys to use as a playground.
