Erika is a Costa Rican American artist, filmmaker, and curator whose work spans photography, film, design, and AI-assisted art. Born in Costa Rica and raised in the United States, Erika's artistic journey is as diverse as her heritage.​ She pursued degrees in fine art, anthropology, and Spanish at Lawrence University, followed by studies at Parsons School of Design, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, and the New York Film Academy. Her career includes roles as an art director for prominent brands like Martha Stewart Living, Tiffany & Co., and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. ​
