The Christian is to live out their faith by being patient in the midst of suffering.

• Be patient, knowing the Lord is returning (v7-8)
• Be patient as you live with one another (v9)
• Be patient like those who came before you (v10-11a)
• Be patient as you trust in the character of the Lord (v11b)
