Racism is an agenda even in the healthcare sector

If Dr Boshart does not act in a way Canadian doctors feel comfortable with, that will earn her a label. The fine line of acceptable professional and “angry Indian woman” is placed in front of people by the limited worldviews of systemic societal racism.

What is the solution? Dr Boshart suggests we have to get together more as humans. We shouldn’t keep people so separate. We need to get to know each other, understand one another, and break down the walls of ignorance.
