POLITICS ASIDE! Non-permanent residents have until May 25th to buy a home using FHA financing. Without getting political, this is an updated FHA policy stemming from executive actions prioritizing using federal resources for U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents (green card). Non-permanent residents who were previously able to purchase a home with FHA financing, will no longer be able to do so. And it is very possible that Conventional financing will follow suit.
