In July of 2019, at the age of 32, Alex was diagnosed with stage one endometrial cancer. She quickly learned that gynecologic cancers are some of the most under-researched and under-funded cancers in the world, and shortly later began a podcast with her mom all about helping women become aware of their bodies and feel empowered to advocate for their health. Alex currently lives in Tallahassee, FL and enjoys baking, taking her dog Sadie Mae on walks, and watching Florida State University sports.
