Mark Renz, retired Chicago Public School History teacher & administrator, recalls Ms. Marian Hesek, the 3rd grade teacher who inspired his lifelong career.

Mark Renz is lifelong educator, with 51 years of formal teaching and learning, both in Chicago's Catholic and Public schools. He is married with a wonderful wife and daughter.
