You might be aware that a Bill is being discussed in this parliamentary session which proposes introducing Assisted Dying in the UK. For Christians, as well as for our wider society, this is a matter of profound concern and complexity. How can we hold together a deep, practical compassion for those in extreme suffering with convictions about the sanctity of life, such that it is the Lord's to give and take away?
