The NHL and NHLPA have agreed to a new four-year Collective Bargaining Agreement extension through 2030. From Olympic participation to a rising salary floor and new playoff cap rules, this agreement is designed to modernize the league and position it for growth.

With media rights negotiations just around the corner, the NHL is potentially going to ask for close to $1 billion annually.
