Phil Lockwood is the creator of the legendary AirCam aircraft and America’s foremost expert on Rotax Engines. His company, the Lockwood Aviation Group based in Sebring, Florida, includes an AirCam kit aircraft division, aircraft supply & service divisions, a repair facility, the Sebring Aviation flight school, and even a Rotax mechanic’s school. In addition to the AirCam, Phil is currently involved in developing a Rotax powered RV-9 package that could very well become the standard for Vans designs for years to come.
