Anchored E6: See the Salvation of the Lord

In this episode of Rock Solid Devotional, we pause to reflect on God’s powerful promise through Moses: “The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.” (Exodus 14:14)

Set in the tension-filled moments before the crossing of the Red Sea, this passage captures the human tendency to panic in the face of fear, uncertainty, and seemingly impossible circumstances. But just as God brought Israel out of Egypt by His power alone, He also calls us to live each day in confidence that He is still fighting for us.

The Exodus story reminds us that salvation has always been God’s work—from the blood on the doorposts to the parting of the sea. And just like the Israelites, we’re invited to trust daily, to walk forward even when the way is unclear, and to silence our fear with faith.
