After a 13-month hiatus, Elaine and Zach are back to discuss the current political discourse, past 6-months to present, dangers posed by choreographed actions and rhetoric of Trump. Was the debate really a failure for Biden? Is the main-stream hijacking the narrative, sewing doubt, and why? And a call to action, if there was ever the time to vote, this election is one that truly matters! You're not crazy for feeling overwhelmed, things are unhinged, or if the United States is currently in the middle of an existential identity crisis!
Today we discuss the deadly game of teenage (and occasionally older people) throwing rocks through people's windshields, causing them to lose control and in some cases, die. This is a trend that started in the 90s, possibly earlier. It's currently in-vogue among teenagers across the United States and sometimes it takes years before they are caught.
After a bit of.a hiatus, we're back to discuss the justice system, injustices in the system, and if you're innocent - what you can do to defend yourself. We also discuss gun violence, the police state, pleas, insanity and prosecution of children. Today we reflect on yesterday's live orchestration and dance performance of Shen Yun (self ascribed as: China Before [oppressive] Communism. We review the meaning of the performance and its importance, message and everlasting impact in contrast to the survive vs. thrive mentality we ever-increasingly live by. The real quest to exercise tolerance, compassion and love (for one another) even in the wake of destructive forces, the other side of humanity that's continually hellbent on greed, division and ruination. Let this be the gentle reminder that each of our affect and actions hold consequences, not only for ourselves, but most importantly also influence others. Ultimately behavior does shape outcome and the higher road is not always a painless one. However, a deep level of vulnerability is both beautiful as it is bountiful and provides a much more prosporous path to travel as together we work towards a better world for us all.
