The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (‘MeitY’) has launched Incentive Schemes for setting up semiconductor and display fabrication facilities in India. Further, MeitY has also introduced two other Schemes – for compound semiconductors, Assembly Testing Marking, and Packaging and Semiconductor Design in India. The total outlay under these Schemes is close to USD 10 billion for all four Schemes.

These Schemes aim at creating a domestic semiconductor fabrication eco-system in India and as part of the webinar, we shall discuss the implications of the same on the Electronics Industry in India and the opportunities it presents for global investors.
