For each of the Nine Nights of the Goddess, we celebrate and worship the forms of Goddess Durga with love and surrender. The first day, we chant the name of Durga as Shailaputri- She who is the daughter of the Mountains- You can avail of the energies of the mantra by sitting in a quiet space allowing for 15 minutes of no interruptions, close your eyes and watch your breath as you listen to the mantra. You may visualize her at the 3rd -eye chakra or the middle of the forehead while you listen to the mantra while mentally offering her flowers, incense, lamp, sweets, clothing etc. as a sign of your devotion.Parole chiave
