Convinced and Persuaded: Walking in Water-Walking Faith

Convinced and Persuaded: Walking in Water-Walking Faith Speaker: Stacey Carver BIBLE: Romans 4:16-22, Numbers 23:19, Hebrews 6:18, Joshua 21:45, Hebrews 9:15-28, Joshua 23:14, Isaiah 55:10-11, Psalms 103:20, Hebrews 4:2, Matthew 14:22-33, Hebrews 1:3, Matthew 8:8 DATE: 09-01-24 In our Christian walk, we are called to live by faith, and not just any faith but a faith that is fully convinced and persuaded by the promises of God. When we talk about having “water-walking faith,” we’re referring to the kind of faith that doesn’t look at circumstances but at the Word of God. It is a faith that is anchored in the truth that God cannot lie, and His Word never returns void. Today, we will explore what it means to be fully convinced of God's promises and how that conviction empowers us to call things which are not as though they were, just like Abraham and Peter. To live a life of faith is to be convinced and fully persuaded that God’s Word is true, His promises are sure, and His nature is trustworthy. Like Abraham, who hoped against hope, we must call those things that are not as though they were. Like Peter, we must step out in faith, keeping our eyes on Jesus and not on the storms around us. And like the centurion, we must believe that one word from Jesus is enough to change everything. God cannot lie. His Word will not return void. As we stand on His promises, mixing them with faith, we will see His power at work in our lives. Keep pressing forward, stand firm in faith, and trust that God’s Word will always come to pass. • Keep Pressing Forward: The Power of Perseverance

Keep Pressing Forward: The Power of Perseverance

Keep Pressing Forward: The Power of Perseverance Speaker: Stacey Carver BIBLE: 2 Corinthians 11:22-29, Philippians 3:12-14, 1 Corinthians 15:10, Philippians 3:13 DATE: 09-01-24 Life as a follower of Christ is not always easy. The journey can be filled with trials, hardships, and suffering. However, the Bible encourages us to keep pressing forward, not because our strength is sufficient, but because God's grace is always enough. Today, we will examine the importance of perseverance in our Christian walk and how suffering for Christ ultimately leads us closer to His purposes. Paul’s life is a powerful example of what it means to persevere through suffering, challenges, and trials for the sake of Christ. He knew that suffering was not in vain; it was part of his journey to fulfill his God-given calling. He pressed on toward the goal, not looking back, but relying on the grace of God. Today, as believers, we too are called to keep pressing forward. We may face trials, setbacks, and even suffering, but we must not lose heart. God’s grace is sufficient, and He will provide the strength we need to complete the race. In Christ, Pastor Stacey Carver Harvest Time International Church https://www.theharvestchurchonline.com

  • The Process

    The Process

The Process Speaker: Stacey Carver BIBLE: Hebrews 11:24-29, Matthew 13:39, Ephesians 4:22-24, Romans 6:14, Romans 7:7, Philippians 1:6 DATE: 09-01-24 Today, we gather to reflect on our calling as believers to be set apart from the world. The Bible teaches us that we are not of this world; we are called to live a life that reflects our identity in Christ. However, we often struggle with the allure of sin, the pressure to conform, and the temptation to settle for temporary pleasures. The challenge before us is to fully surrender to the transformative process God has started in us, knowing that He will complete the good work He began. Let us remember that we are called out of this world to live lives that are holy and pleasing to God. Sin may offer temporary pleasure, but it will ultimately lead to destruction. We must surrender to the process of transformation that God is working in us, trusting that He will complete the good work He has begun. Let us not treat Jesus as just a life insurance policy, but as the Lord of our lives. We are not Egyptians; we are not of this world. Let us live in a way that reflects our true identity in Christ, guarding our hearts and staying sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. • Have You Paid the Power Bill?

Have You Paid the Power Bill?

Have You Paid the Power Bill? Speaker: Stacey Carver BIBLE: Acts 2:22, 1 Corinthians 4:20, Acts 1:8, Acts 10:38, 2 Kings 1:10, 1 Kings 18:36-39, Romans 8:9-11, 1 Corinthians 12:10, John 2:11, John 3:2 DATE: 08-22-24 Today, we're going to talk about something essential to our faith and the effectiveness of our walk with God—power. The Bible speaks of the power of God as a force that brings change, performs miracles, and demonstrates the reality of His Kingdom. But here's the question: Have you paid the power bill? Without power, there is no change. Without power, the Church becomes a place of mere routine rather than a beacon of transformation. The power switch needs to be turned back on in the Church, so we can be the conduits of God’s miracles that He intended us to be. Church, it’s time to stop living powerless lives. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in us, and it’s time to activate that power. Have you paid the power bill? If you find yourself running on empty, reconnect with the Holy Spirit, and watch as God uses you to perform miracles, to heal, and to bring life wherever you go. • Stir Up the Gift, Fan the Flame, and Be Even More Undignified

Stir Up the Gift, Fan the Flame, and Be Even More Undignified

Stir Up the Gift, Fan the Flame, and Be Even More Undignified Speaker: Stacey Carver BIBLE: 2 Timothy 1:3-7, Romans 11:29, 1 Samuel 17:45-51, 2 Samuel 6:16-24, Ezekiel 47:5, 2 Timoth 3:5 DATE: 08-11-24 Today, we're going to talk about the gifts and callings that God has placed in each of us. Often, we let the fire of our calling grow dim due to fear, complacency, or external pressures. But God is calling us to stir up the gift within us, to fan the flame, and to boldly and unashamedly step into what He has called us to do—even if it means being "undignified" in the world's eyes. Church, it’s time to stir up the gifts within us, fan the flame of our calling, and be willing to be even more undignified for the sake of Christ. Let us go deeper in our faith, confront the giants in our lives, and walk in the fullness of God’s power, knowing that He who began a good work in us will be faithful to complete it.
