Il ragazzo però, inebriato dall'ambiente e dalla novità di quella situazione, non resiste alla tentazione di fare una discesa con Gianni sulle piste da sci, e quando i due tornano alla base è ormai troppo tardi per rientrare alle loro rispettive case. Non resta altro da fare che pernottare in un rifugio, allo Chalet La Marmotte. Ma è rimasta una camera sola, e si sa che Gianni ha un debole per Emmanuel...
