A near death experience propelled Thomas "Tom" Harvey to drop everything and become a Christian missionary. Travelling across the globe to bring the good news of Christ to others. Spending an eye opening ten years in Communist China. Then returning to America and donating his time to many worthy causes. Tom explains that in elementary school he was given another child's name and address in a neighboring town. He was directed to write them. Which he did frequently. But at the end of the school year he met his pen pal friend. This experience instilled a deep joy for letter writing that withstood all these years. Culminating in a solid pen pal friendship with our co-host Daniel. Tom has developed and fostered many pen pal friendships like this.
