Allergic Eosinophilic Gastro-esophagitis Overview

We are discussing this topic today as a part of the allergy series and how allergic reactions affects different parts of the body. We have discussed the nose, eyes, throat, lungs, and now we are discussing the stomach/gut area and how it can be negatively affected by an over reactive immune system to a particular allergen (protein) introduced into the digestive tract.

Over the years we have become more sensitive to different types of foods which manufactured, fertilized, chemically treated whatever the case more babies and children are being affected with food allergies.
