Beyond the Field di David Mead

Note sull'episodio

Paul Aiton played 253 professional rugby league games across the NRL and Super League, and proudly represented Papua New Guinea 16 times with the Kumuls — a childhood dream come true. We first met in 2008 playing together in the Rugby League World Cup, and he's been a great mate ever since.

In this episode, Paul reflects on his journey from Mount Hagen to playing professional rugby league in Australia, England, and France. He shares valuable lessons from 13 years at the top level, why he encourages young players to study the game more, and how goal setting helped shape his career. Paul also opens up about his current role as assistant coach for the PNG Hunters and recalls some funny stories from his early days in Australia. This one’s full of laughs, lessons, and honest insights.
