Rob Ortiz, National Sales Director at Formlabs joins Joe today for a very in-depth interview on what SLA (Stereolithography) 3D printing is all about. In this episode we discuss a printing project that the Ascent Fab team worked on to reverse engineer an automotive component that was difficult, if not impossible, for the customer to procure. We printed it in ABS via FDM on the Mingda MD-400D as well as Tough 1500 via SLA on the Formlabs Form 4.
