Book Club – A Fatal Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum by Emma Southon

This must read, actually the only thing that needs to be read if you want to learn about ancient Rome, is as fascinating as the title is long. It is a masterpiece in historical analysis because it entertains as much as it informs and it entertains A LOT!

Shout out to the narrator Sophie Ward as well who has done an amazing job.
