Behold Your King, Day 12: Promised to Abraham

In this episode of Behold Your King, we link God’s ancient covenant with Abraham to Mary’s joyful song in the hill country of Judah. God promised Abram a son, a shield, and a reward—and through that promised offspring, a nation as countless as the stars. Generations later, Mary recognizes that the child in her womb is the long-awaited fulfillment of that covenant, the mercy God swore to Abraham and his descendants forever. As Mary magnifies the Lord, we see that Jesus Himself is the true covenant-keeping Son: the one whose broken body shields His people from God’s wrath and gathers them into a redeemed family. Through King Jesus, the blessings promised to Abraham are extended to all who believe.
