Having defeated Bugsy in Gold and Silver (and Crystal hopefully soon) it is time to catch up in the Anime and Manga. However, there are few chapters in the Manga between the gym leaders and so this week we plow through 8!! episodes of the Anime. We meet a pokemon that cries loudly, fools that take shelter under TALL TREES in a LIGHTNING STORM. We get an awesome adventure where Togepi is in trouble driving an Arbok Tank. We meet a new electric Pokemon and that episode has some similar feel to the Magnemite rancher one from Orange Ilsands. We get superheroes, a Pokemon identity crisis, and...we LOSE another Pokemon!
After the episode we find the battle begin between Violet and Gym Leader Brock. Will she earn her badge?
