I learned about A tribute to a sister when I found out my mom was having another child. My sister, Sticks, was born eight pounds, eight ounces, and was walking at eight months old. She was smart, athletic, and witty. Growing up, I taught her things like her ABCs and her address, and she was enrolled in preschool and Holy Angels. She played basketball and was even interviewed on the news. I took her to the park with me and she even played against Derek Rose in grammar school. I was proud of her when she said I was her favorite player. Present day, she is a good friend, mom, leader, and loyal sist ...
