Why is mentoring so important? Chris goes solo today as he talks about why it's so important for a trusted mentor to open up conversations to discover what people are really dealing with!
So the question begs to be asked, what are people really dealing with:
- depression, sexual identity, anxiety, insecurity, fear of the future, shame from the past, stress in the present
- unhealthy expectations in work, church, education or family can play a part as well.
Most of us deal with things in our own way. However, many of us don't have a trusted mentor to discuss those things that we are dealing with that we may never open up about.
Chris gives some practical tips and suggestions on how to approach people to get them to open up about what they are really dealing with.
