Nicki Pau Preto is winner of the 2020 Goodreads Choice Awards. She is a fantasy author living just outside of Toronto, Canada. She studied art and art history in university and worked as a graphic designer before becoming a writer full-time. She is the author of the YA fantasy Crown of Feathers trilogy and the forthcoming Bonesmith, and The Last Hope School for Magical Delinquents will be her middle grade debut.
