What is your God like? (Isaiah 45) with Joel Atwood

In this episode, from a chapel service held on Friday 30 May 2025, Joel Atwood, missionary in Vanuatu with the Church Missionary Society Australia, speaks on Isaiah 45 and God’s word to the nation of Israel about his anointed one, King Cyrus.

He reminds us that the plans of God are not our plans. When we are tempted to ask, “Why is God doing that?”, we need to remember that he is greater and more wonderful than our crude and limited conceptions of him. We can’t force him or rush him; we can only follow along to his timetable.
