Regarded as one of the best superhero films ever, 'Spider-Man 2' took the world by storm with an even bigger story that brought in a tonne of action, along with a superb character study of everyone's favourite nerd, Peter Parker.
Whilst the first Spidey flick is still very near and dear to me, the sequel also sits high in that list due to its deep dive into Peter as a character, and the struggles he has juggling his normal life along with that of being Spider-Man. Throw in an iconic comic villain like Doc Oc, and you have a recipe for success - especially when you get some top tier Raimi horror too.
Its pretty amazing that a film from 2004 is still highly regarded by so many. In a world now where every other day a new MCU film is released, 'Spider-Man 2' still stands out amongst the greats. The spectacle is there, but so too is the ...
