Hello everyone, this time we have a guest from the IT industry! John Wang from China studied computer science and applied math for his bachelor degree in the USA. He started as a software engineer in 2014, first in Microsoft, and now works in Amazon as a team manager. He is responsible for leading a team of software engineers to build scalable technologies in the digital streaming service and smart TV sector.
Now, he is doing a weekend MBA at Imperial College London to stretch his knowledge regarding business and management. His work requires interacting with people from different sectors such as strategy, finance, and marketing. Thus, he felt it is very relevant to understand elements of management and business better.
