Sacha Dench is a geneticist, freediver, adventurer, high-flyer, change maker, and founder of Conservation Without Borders. Her work with animals began with capturing turtles as a freediver and geneticist off the Great Barrier Reef, and the uniqueness of her path multiplied from there. Competing internationally whilst becoming a national champion freediver, her work eventually took to the skies.
A 7,000 kilometer motorized paraglider flight following Buick Swans from the Russian Arctic to the United Kingdom catapulted her into the public eye as she helped combat the decimation of the species. Her grassroots effort carried her across more than 10 countries and connected her with some of the world’s foremost adventurers and pioneers.
