Starting from the iconic Block 101 in Chong Pang City, walk with us down Yishun Ring Road and explore a different side to this neighbourhood, with older temples, a columbarium and an all but forgotten school that was a home for national table tennis champions.
Estate Frequencies: Chong Pang & Chye Kay is a self-guided two-part walk featuring interviews and creative expressions, tracing the stories and history of Chye Kay Village, an older village that has been completely replaced by Chong Pang City. Starting at Yishun MRT, we go all the way back, with the Orang Laut, and work our way forward in history and along the streets and the famous ring road of Yishun.
