The Tree Of Life

Bible Reading: Ezekiel 47:1-12; Revelation 22:1-5

Summary: In the New Jerusalem, there will be a river

flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through

the middle of the city’s streets. This river is the water of

God’s grace in Jesus, the water of life that Jesus offered

through the Gospel. The origin is from God and the Lamb,

who earned the Living water for us. The water is as bright as

crystal, clean, and there is nothing that can cause any sickness

anymore. And on both sides of the river, there will be trees.

The leaves of the trees will be for the healing of the

nations. In paradise, there was only one tree (Genesis 2:9),

but in the New Jerusalem, there are trees on both sides of
