Lorenzo P. Lewis joins us to share his journey from being born in prison to becoming a global mental health advocate. Lorenzo founded The Confess Project which fosters and trains barbers across the United States to recognize mental health crises and foster support in the black community. Lorenzo's journey from prison baby , struggling adolescent, to mentor, non-profit founder, husband, father, and now venture fund owner is uplifting and inspiring. His take-home message is that we are our stories and storytelling is the connector.
