At RSS.com, we believe podcasting should be more than a passion. It should be able to pay you back. That’s why we built an affiliate program designed to make it genuinely easy for our community to earn real money just by sharing something they already love.
Our affiliate program offers 50% of the first three months on any plan a referred user signs up for, with a 60-day cookie so you get credit even when someone takes a little time to decide. No gimmicks, no impossible thresholds. Just a straightforward way to turn your audience and your enthusiasm for podcasting into income.
And nobody knows this better than Ashley Grant, RSS.com’s Social Media Content Strategist, Brand Ambassador, and one of our consistently top-referring affiliates month after month.
The thing is, Ashley isn’t just a contractor who promotes RSS.com because it’s her job. She’s an active affiliate who has figured out, through real-world testing on her own platforms, exactly what works. We asked her to share her playbook in her own words, and she didn’t hold back.
Below is what Ashley does every single month to drive referral traffic and earn affiliate commissions.
No Fluff. Just Driving Referral Traffic
Hey there! Ashley here to share everything I know so far about promoting RSS.com as an affiliate. No fluff, no theory…just five things I do every month to drive referrals and earn affiliate commissions.
Tip 1: Put Your Link Everywhere. Unapologetically.
My affiliate link lives in my podcast show notes, YouTube descriptions, LinkedIn articles, and blog posts. Every time I publish something, the link is there.
Make it a habit, not an afterthought.
The podcasters who earn the most from affiliate programs aren’t doing anything fancy. They’re just consistent. Every piece of content you already create is an opportunity you’re leaving on the table if your link isn’t in it.

Tip 2: Always Append Your Affiliate Code to RSS.com Links You Share
When I share podcast links on X, Bluesky, Reddit, or Facebook, I never use a plain RSS.com URL.
Instead of: https://rss.com/podcasts/mypodcast/
I always share: https://rss.com/podcasts/mypodcast/?via=myaffiliatecode

Every click is a potential commission. Get into the habit of doing this every single time. It only takes a few extra seconds and adds up in a big way over time.

Tip 3: Create Evergreen Content That Works While You Sleep
This is where the real passive income lives.
Blog posts like “How to Start a Podcast in 2026” and “Best Podcast Equipment for Beginners” drive consistent traffic month after month.
Write them once, embed your affiliate link, and let them convert on autopilot. You do the work one time and the post keeps earning for you indefinitely. That’s the kind of content worth prioritizing.

Tip 4: Use Short Videos to Show How Easy RSS.com Actually Is
A quick YouTube, TikTok, or Reels tutorial showing how to upload an episode, check analytics, or enable PAID removes doubt in a way a written post simply can’t. When people see how fast and easy the platform is, they sign up.
Say your link out loud and put it in the description.
I created a walkthrough video of RSS.com on my own YouTube channel, and in the description I included links to my podcasts (with affiliate codes!) plus an affiliate link to sign up for a free RSS.com account. Here’s what one of my videos looks like:
Short, visual, and to the point. It will continue to bring in referrals long after I hit publish.
Tip 5: Talk About the Monetization Features Front and Center
This one is like an affiliate secret weapon. RSS.com’s PAID feature lets podcasters earn from dynamic ads with as few as 10 monthly downloads.
No ad sales, no outreach, no chasing sponsors. Other platforms require 1,000+ downloads or more just to qualify for monetization.
That contrast sells itself. When you lead with “you can start earning from your podcast almost immediately with RSS.com,” people pay attention.
Speak directly to the thing every podcaster wants: a real path to making money from their show.
