The Unexpected Surprise
Hello,
Welcome to Cager’s Coffee Break
Have you ever had a package show up at your front door, looked at the box, and thought, “Now what in the world did I order?”
You carry it inside, turn it around, look at the label, and still have absolutely no idea.
Then you open it and say, “OH! I forgot all about this!”
And for about thirty seconds, it feels like somebody sent you a present—even though you bought it, you paid for it, and you tracked the shipping three days ago!
Sometimes life brings little surprises that way. Something we had forgotten about suddenly shows up and reminds us that not everything good has to arrive with fireworks and a marching band.
Some of life's nicest moments are tucked inside ordinary days.
Coffee is a little like that, too. Long before it reaches your cup, its flavor is already being influenced by where it grows. Elevation, temperature, rainfall, soil, and other growing conditions can all contribute to the characteristics that eventually emerge after the beans are processed and roasted.
So when you enjoy a cup of coffee and notice a hint of chocolate, nuttiness, fruitiness, or another flavor, you're enjoying the result of a journey that began long before that coffee ever reached your kitchen.
Life has journeys like that, too.
Sometimes something good is developing and we don't even realize it.
A friendship may be growing stronger.
An opportunity may be taking shape.
A lesson you're learning today may prepare you for something you haven't encountered yet.
And an ordinary act of kindness you offered somebody last week may have meant far more to that person than you'll ever know.
We tend to look for the big moments, but don't overlook the little packages life leaves at the door.
A phone call from somebody you haven't heard from in a while.
A beautiful sunrise.
An unexpected laugh.
A quiet afternoon.
Or that first warm sip of Cager’s Coffee when you finally get a chance to sit down.
Sometimes the smallest surprises turn out to be exactly what we needed.
And if an actual package arrives at your door today and you can't remember ordering it, don't worry, and don’t forget to grab yourself a delicious cup of Cager’s Coffee and come visit us at www.cagerscoffeehut.com.
Open it.
Apparently, in the past You had decided you would need it in the future, and now you are presently surprised you ordered it, life is full of surprises, so remember to keep brewing kindness one cup at a time!
