Anneliese lived a very religious life. At the age of 16 things started taking a turn. Started as being found in trance-like states, to feeling numb, to seeming like her body and mind was being controlled by someone else. After seeing a doctor and feeling like it was of no help, Anneliese and her family searched for help outside of medicine. After 10 months, unfortunately Anneliese passed away. Was it the new form of help, the lack of conventional medicine or was it true of what Anneliese and her family fear, that she was truly possessed?
