We discuss how children in different age groups can be impacted from traumatic experiences, and what types of experiences can develop into childhood traumatic stress. We highlight the different risk and protective factors that can mitigate or worsen traumatic episodes, and even discuss some tips for how parents can help their child overcome living with trauma.
